About Us
Clinical Scribes LLC was founded by an emergency department physician in 2007. After starting work in the ED,
he realized it wasn't the shifts that bothered him, it was the documentation! So he started recruiting college students to help out, training them himself. We have come a long way since then, but we never lost sight of our purpose: improving the lives of healthcare providers while personally investing in the lives of our employees.
We're not the biggest scribe company, but that's OK with us. Our service-driven staff and personalized management style separates Clinical Scribes from other medical scribe companies. Additionally, our customized scribe training is tailored to each provider's specific needs, and is managed under the leadership of our own full-time Medical Director.

Jaime and her older brother, Kyle, started Clinical Scribes LLC over 10 years ago. Initially, she scribed and managed employees at a single site outside of Minneapolis. And then she decided to go back to school and become a medical doctor. Now, she is a dermatologist practicing in the Minneapolis metro area.

Medical Director |
Laura worked as a physician in busy clinical settings for 10 years (often with scribes) before transitioning to EHR consulting. Traveling throughout the US, she trained physicians to embrace the EHR and optimize their documentation in accordance with quality, compliance and billing, and over time she became a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner. As medical director with Clinical Scribes, she is excited to be able to utilize her experiences to continue helping the healthcare team beat the documentation burden.
